Our Story
Chess Minds United was born out of a simple yet powerful belief: every child has the potential to think like a champion — all they need is the right guidance, encouragement, and a chessboard.
Founded and mentored by Mithra kanth Pooja Kanth, a former civil engineer turned educator and chess coach, Chess Minds United began as a small online initiative during the pandemic. What started with a few passionate learners has now grown into a vibrant, global learning community.
With students from Australia, India, and beyond, our mission is to nurture young minds through the timeless game of chess — building not just skill, but confidence, focus, and strategic thinking.
We don’t just teach chess moves — we teach life lessons: how to stay calm under pressure, how to learn from mistakes, how to think ahead, and most importantly, how to enjoy the journey.
Today, Chess Minds United offers structured online and in-person lessons, interactive camps, and exciting tournaments for all levels. Our curriculum blends fun with fundamentals, allowing every student — whether a curious beginner or an aspiring pro — to find their place on the board.
Together, let’s raise a generation of thinkers, planners, dreamers, and doers — one move at a time.
